Audio installation by Dmitry Shubin "Clues of Sound" is a project working at the intersection of music and audio documentation, which uses field recordings made on the streets of Vyborg.
Everyday sounds that mark the urban space - the noise of the railway station, the chime of the clock on the Clock Tower, cooing of pigeons on Vodnaya Zastava Street - become elements of a complex multi-level structure, merging to the point of being indistinguishable with the sound timbres of a prepared piano and electronic noises. The project consists of five parts, each of which is tied to a specific point in the city, which can be found by entering the specified coordinates into google maps.

Аудио-инсталляция Дмитрия Шубина «Улики звука» (полевые записи, электроника, фортепиано) - проект, работающий на стыке музыки и аудио-документации, в котором используются полевые записи, сделанные на улицах Выборга. Повседневные звуки, маркирующие городское пространство — шум железнодорожного вокзала, бой часов на Часовой башне, воркование голубей на улице Водной Заставы — становятся элементами сложной многоуровневой структуры, сливаясь до неразличимости со звуковыми тембрами «подготовленного» рояля и электронными шумами. Проект рассчитан на прослушивание в наушниках и состоит из пяти частей, каждая из которых привязана к определенной точке города, которую можно найти, введя в гугль-карты указанные координаты.
Каждый трек сопровождается описанием и фотографиями (нажмите на название трека).

Инсталляция "Улики звука" является частью коллекции Центра современного искусства (г.Выборг)
